Terms of Use

By placing an order with ELITA Ltd you agree to these terms. Please read them before you order. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send an order confirmation email. If a product is out of stock or a price is listed in error we will contact you and offer an alternative or a full refund.

Prices are shown in pounds sterling and exclude UK VAT, which is added at checkout at the prevailing rate. Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay. Free UK delivery applies to orders over £150.

Orders placed before 11:30am Monday to Friday are dispatched the same working day. Delivery estimates are given in good faith and are not guaranteed. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

We ship internationally with rates calculated at checkout. Any import duties, taxes or customs charges raised in the destination country are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the price you pay us.

Your right to cancel: if you've bought from us online, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, for any reason, without needing to explain why. This is known as the "cooling-off period" under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. To cancel, simply let us know in writing (email is fine) within that 14-day window.

Returning your goods: once you've told us you're cancelling, you then have a further 14 days to send the item back to us. You're welcome to inspect the item as you would in a shop, but please take reasonable care of it while it's in your possession — if it's returned damaged or used beyond reasonable inspection, we may deduct an amount from your refund to reflect this.

Return postage costs: you will be responsible for the cost of returning the item to us, unless the item is faulty, damaged, or not as described.

Refunds: we'll refund the price you paid, including standard delivery charges, within 14 days of receiving the item back. Refunds will be made to your original payment method.

Exceptions: the right to cancel doesn't apply to goods made to your specification or clearly personalised, for example the ELITA Bespoke service.

Faulty or misdescribed items: separately from the above, if an item is faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose, you're covered under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 — you may be entitled to a full refund within 30 days of purchase, or a repair/replacement after that. This applies regardless of the 14-day cooling-off period.

How to start a return: contact us at info@elitaltd.co.uk with your order number, and we'll guide you through the next steps. Alternatively, follow the steps on the returns form supplied in your parcel. Please DO NOT return items to our registered address: 100 Menzies Road, TN38 9BB — returns sent here cannot be accepted. Please ensure you return items to the address provided on the returns slip.

Resins, pigments and mortar dyes are professional materials. Always test on a sample, follow the technical data sheet, and use the recommended protective equipment. We provide guidance in good faith, but site conditions vary and the suitability of a product for a specific job remains your responsibility.

We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law. Otherwise our liability is limited to the price paid for the goods. We are not liable for labour costs, consequential loss or loss of profit.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
